The Change Layer Name window from the previous image can also be accessed by clicking on Layer in the top menu, going to Layer Settings, and then going across and down to Change Layer Name, as shown in the screenshot below. In true Clip Studio Paint fashion, there is ANOTHER method you can use to rename your layers. Clicking on Cancel will discard the name change. Type the new title for the Layer in the “Name” box, then click on OK to complete the name change. Using this menu command will bring up the Change Layer Name window. Move the cursor to Layer Settings, then over to Change Layer Name… This is shown in the following image. This will bring up a small menu in Clip Studio Paint. Type the new name in and press “Enter” to finalize it.Īlternately, you can also perform this operation by right-clicking on the layer. This will turn the existing name text into a text entry box. The easiest way to rename the layer is to double-click on the existing name. But if all the existing layers have been renamed, a new layer will come into existence with the title “Layer 1”. For instance, if I add a new layer to the document in the above screenshot, the new layer will automatically be named “Layer 5” because none of the other layers have names. You can also hold down Ctrl+Shift+N to create a new layer with a keyboard shortcut.Īfter you create a new layer it will show in the Layer palette and will have a default name depending on the layers already in the document. To create a new Raster Layer, click on Layer - New Raster Layer in the top menu bar, or click on the New Raster Layer icon in the Layer Palette. Trying to find the layer you’re looking for when there’s just a stack of “Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer 4” can be frustrating, so try to get in the habit of naming layers as your create them or soon after! This is the easiest way to be able to tell what your layers are, so long as you remember to name the layers as you create them. In this article we will cover the following topics: Especially if you’re like me and forget to name them as soon as you create them! Aside from naming there are a few other ways you can keep your CSP layers organized though, and that’s what we’re going to learn about today. But if you use a lot of layers in your work, it can be difficult to keep them organized. Layers are one of the best innovations in digital art. Many of you probably know my name from those books, in fact! I was a beta-tester on the Manga Studio 5 program and for Clip Studio Paint, and I have written three books and several video courses about the program. Hello! My name is Liz Staley and I’m a long-time user of Clip Studio Paint (I started using the program back when it was known as Manga Studio 4!).

After all the plugins were gone, I started up Illustrator and Photoshop to check if the pop-up went away.As I said before, as best practice I leave the extensions and folders in the trash and don't delete them just in case. I dragged the "ExtensisFontManagementAICC2014.api" plugin to the trash from each of adobe applications giving me problems (Illustrator and Photoshop for me). These plugin and extension folders should exist for each adobe application. I went to the application folder: the paths to the plugins for Adobe CC apps for me were Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Adobe Illustrator CC -> Plugins -> Extensions, or wherever your applications are.The AICC2014 part of the extension name will differ for each application. Turns out there are plugins in the plugin folder called "ExtensisFontManagementAICC2014.api". I opened a Finder Window and searched for "Extensis" a plugin for each one of my Illustrator and Photoshop apps showed up. Next, I went to search for any plugins or extensions by Extensis that were in the plugin folders. As a good practice I don't like to delete anything from the trash until I know everything is working as it should. Look for a hidden Extensis file by clicking Go > Go To Folder (or shift + command + G) and searching "~/.Extensis" (without the quotes).I did some looking around and found on a link to this troubleshoot Extensis' page on this forum thread. His mother was a Jehovah's Witness and his father a former boxer turned steelworker who played guitar on the side. Michael was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958, the fifth son of Katherine and Joe Jackson. Such heights came from modest beginnings. Health problems culminated in his untimely death in the summer of 2009, but at that point Jackson's legend was safe: he stood alongside Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Miles Davis, and Bob Dylan as one of the musicians that created the sound of America in the 20th century. Invincible, his 2001 album, turned out to be his last. HIStory, a 1995 double-disc set that paired a disc of hits with a new album, produced a couple of international number one singles. Jackson parted ways with Jones for 1991's Dangerous, another global blockbuster. Such a phenomenal triumph pushed Jackson into the stratosphere and Bad - the eagerly-anticipated 1987 sequel to Thriller, co-produced once again with Quincy Jones - kept him there, generating five number one singles on the Billboard charts and selling 30 million copies internationally, two thirds of which were outside of the U.S. and moving over 100 million albums worldwide. Seven of its nine songs were Top Ten hits, it earned eight Grammy Awards, and topped the Billboard charts for 37 weeks, matching its American success internationally to become the biggest-selling album of all time, earning 32 platinum certifications in the U.S. Jackson's smashing of the network's racial barriers was only one aspect of Thriller's unprecedented crossover. Thriller was designed to appeal to every audience and its diversity was evident by its guests: he enlisted Eddie Van Halen to play guitar on the hard rock of "Beat It" while inviting Paul McCartney to duet on the chipper soft pop tune "The Girl Is Mine." Jackson also expanded the horizons of soul and dance music, producing pioneering masterpieces like "Billie Jean." This single provided Thriller with its 1983 breakthrough, thanks in part to its groundbreaking music video, which became the first clip from a Black artist to enter steady rotation on the fledgling MTV. Determined to break through this glass ceiling, he reunited with Jones to create Thriller, the 1982 album that shattered every music record on the books. Despite its success, Jackson believed Off the Wall was pigeonholed as an R&B record. Off the Wall, the dazzling 1979 album co-produced by Quincy Jones, announced Jackson as a mature talent, and the singles "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" and "Rock with You" turned it into a blockbuster. As remarkable a run as the Jackson 5 had - at the dawn of the '70s, each of their first four singles went to number one and they stayed near the top of the charts for the next five years - it all served as a preamble to Jackson's solo career. A preternaturally gifted singer and dancer, Jackson first rose to stardom in 1969 as the 11-year-old frontman for his family's band, the Jackson 5. Michael Jackson wasn't merely the biggest pop star of his era, shaping the sound and style of the 1970s and '80s he was one of the defining stars of the 20th century, a musician who changed the contours of American culture. $87,000, 11 Main St, Carrier, Rose, to Seymour 3rd, Herbert F. $250,000, 160 Mile Hill Rd, Mcnamara, Brenda G, and Smith, Bernice E, to Collins, Anita D. $370,000, 40 Washington St, Ether Properties LLC, to Pham, Allen A, and Tang, Angie T. $540,000, 72 Brook Ln #72, Mathur Ft, and Mathur, Anjali, to Lynch 3rd, Lincoln D, and Lynch, Susan M.$240,000, 8 Stones Corner Rd, Santello, Sharon E, and Santello, Paul, to Smalley, Justin. $600,000, 28 Nelson St #28, Lindley Realty LLC, to Stan Properties LLC.$600,000, 28-30 High St S, Lindley Realty LLC, to Stan Properties LLC.$600,000, 33-35 Nelson St, Lindley Realty LLC, to Stan Properties LLC.$200,000, 90 Main St, Coppolino Jr, Dominic F, to Pietrzak, Jason. $735,000, 10 Commonwealth Ave, S&k Development LLC, to Gupta, Mayank.$475,000, 34 Adella St, Szklarz, Kristen L, to Poirier, John P, and Poirier, Monique A.$350,000, 101 Heritage Ln #101, Meade, Larry, and Gagner, Tammy, to Hazen, Shana L, and Ilvonen, John.$345,000, 85 Appleton Rd, Melican, Paula M, to Walton, Gregory, and Cordero-Walton, Cynthia.$315,000, 3 John William Dr #A, Lotti, Jodie L, and Lotti, Jonathan J, to Coffin, Richard J.$275,000, 273 Bryn Mawr Ave, Votour Gertrude M Est, and Votour, Gary M, to Twin Management LLC.$152,000, 470 Rochdale St, Woeller 2nd, James D, to Sandstone Masonry & Const.$139,000, 261 Prospect St, Hill, Richard J, and Hill, Danielle M, to Lotti, Jonathan J, and Lotti, Jodie L.$119,000, 470 Rochdale St, Clayman, David M, to Woeller 2nd, James D. $463,000, 830 Carpenter Rd, Mcginnis, Claire E, and Mcginnis, Marjorie E, to Davis, Katlin, and Hugo-Webb, Jean-Julien.$429,000, 432 Conant Rd, Lojen LLC, to Eckert Jr, Anthony.$420,000, 48 Benwoods Dr, Benwoods LLC, to Marchionni, Anthony J, and Marchionni, Patricia A.$240,000, 858 Silver Lake St, Holloway Sr Myron C Est, and Chaplin, Tina L, to Massanet, Mercy B.$125,000, 26 Lee St, Reo T2017-Rpl1, and U S Bank TNa Tr, to Dream Home Invs LLC. $662,500, 258 West Rd, Collins, Andrew T, and Collins, Patricia A, to Connally, Jake T, and Battaini, Samantha M.$375,000, 95 South Rd, Pratt, Annabelle, and Pratt, Robert, to Baio, Salvatore, and Baio, Jessica E. $845,000, 28 Corey Hill Rd, Cag Rt, and Kopley, Ashley B, to Garner, Robin, and Mason, Mark T.$687,900, 157 Packard Hill Rd, Lisiewicz, Dean, to Gustafson, Carl O, and Rowe, Roberta M. Driving the 2009 Journeyĭavid Zatz drove the 2009 Dodge Journey R/T for, concluding that the interior did not look quite as bad as critics made it out to be, though the gauges were quite small. Like the SXT, it was exclusively powered by the V6 and came standard with FWD with AWD optional. The Journey R/T featured larger allow wheels, roof rails, two-zone climate control, heated leather seats, remote start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Though standard with FWD, an AWD system was optional on the SXT. The SXT came standard with the more powerful 3.5L V6 producing 235 horsepower and 232 lb-ft, as well as the 6-speed automatic transmission. The SXT included alloy wheels, automatic headlights, keyless entry, more interior storage compartments, satellite radio, a power seat, the “stain resistant” cloth seat material from the Nitro, and heated side mirrors. Unlike the SXT and R/T, it was only available with front wheel drive (FWD), not all wheel drive (AWD). The SE came with steel wheel (16”), air conditioning, and a six-speaker sound system, and was powered by the 2.4L 4-cylinder that produced 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft. All trim levels came standard with two rows, though a third row was optional on the SXT and R/T. Three primary trim levels were available: SE, SXT, and R/T. The driving dynamics were also not very impressive, with prominent body roll, though this was not unheard of in this segment. Because of the Journey’s weight, the four-cylinder was quite underpowered. Unlike the Dodge Nitro, buyers could not get a manual transmission. The Journey was available with a 2.4L four-cylinder engine paired to a four-speed automatic or a 3.5L V6 paired to a six-speed automatic. At the time, the Journey was regarded as a good-looking vehicle, if not groundbreaking. The Journey was designed to replace the short-wheelbase minivans with a more enticing package: minivans had a stigma that kept them from being fully mainstream in recent years, so Dodge wanted to remedy this by releasing a crossover replacement with an available third row. The MK (Compass and Patriot) and PM (Caliber) platforms were also born from the Mitsubishi GS platform, known for the Galant among other cars. The Journey was built on the JC platform which, like the JS (Sebring and Avenger) platform, was based on the Mitsubishi GS platform. Using a platform and some styling shared with the Dodger Avenger, the Journey was obviously taller, with a longer wheelbase-shorter than its cross-brand predecessor, the original Chrysler Pacifica, but identical to the short-wheelbase 2007 minivans. Trying to fill the need for a car-like, compact-to-midsize SUV, the Dodge Journey first appeared at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show it was launched as a 2009. It flaps its wings rapidly as a means to maintain hover next to the flower it collects pollen from. Its methods of collecting nectar make it resemble hummingbirds. This moth species (Hyles lineata) is sometimes referred to as the Hummingbird moth. They will rest in the evening if they can’t find any good source of pollen, just like other moths of the Hemaris genus. Snowberry Clearing moths are active in the afternoon. It’s a prevalent species in Eastern US where it’s highly active during the day. The easiest way to see this month is to find it in its natural habitat. They are diurnal moths mostly interested in snowberry, honeysuckle, thistle, and nectar from other plants. Sizing resembles medium-size and larger hummingbirds as Snowberry Clearwing has a wingspan of up to 2 inches. Some of these moths are also known to show hints of blue coloring on the abdomen as well as red undertones on their wings. These moths resemble hummingbirds through their multi-colored body as well as through their transparent wings with black margins. The species is also known as the Flying lobster due to its shape and colors. Snowberry Clearwing (Hemaris diffinis) is known for having a golden or olive green color with a black band at the top of the abdomen. It doesn’t invade crops and it doesn’t have a major pollination role.Īn exception applies to orchids, flowers this species is known to occasionally pollinate. The moth is neither beneficial nor seen as a pest. This can be prolonged into the evening on warm days. Otherwise, this diurnal species also has its habit that can make it easier to distinguish from other species.įor example, it only visits flowers in the afternoon when the weather is warmest. This long proboscis is what makes some people confuse it with hummingbirds. They have a long proboscis which helps them pierce through flowers easily. Hummingbird Clearwing moths are mostly associated with hummingbirds for how they collect pollen and nectar from flowers. It always seeks fruits and honeysuckle for food. This is a migratory species of moth which means it has a wide habitat in the US. The underside of the moth is mostly white. The abdomen is red with black parallel lines.īoth the olive green and the red colors are also seen on its wings. The species is even confused with hummingbirds at times.Ĭoloring varies depending on its region (found in the Mid-West and on the Western Coast) but it’s generally a combination of colors. Hummingbird Clearwing Hummingbird Clearwingīoth the physical traits and the behavior of Hummingbird Clearwing moths (Hemaris thysbe) make them resemble hummingbirds. Since they prefer drylands they are mostly seen in deserts of the US. The white-Headed Bee Fly genus is known for its wide North American distribution. The wings of the flies are partly black and partly transparent. They can be distinguished from other Bombyliidae flies by a fine blonde lien that runs from the middle of the thorax to the end of the abdomen. They are known to have a short wide body of gray-brown coloring with a blonde tint.įlies of the genus have the same thorax and abdomen coloring on their bristle-like hairs that cover the body. Small size and a short wingspan are some of the common reasons these flies are confused with hummingbirds. This species (Bombylius albicapillus) is known for preferring dry habitats where it feeds on wildflower nectar. White-headed Bee Fly White-headed Bee Fly. Rocky Mountain Clearwing moths are known for being able to quickly change in-flight direction, which makes them as agile as hummingbirds. Known for being diurnal, this moth species is often confused with small hummingbirds.Īpart from the physical traits that make it similar to the small colorful birds, its flight characteristics further make it resemble hummingbirds. Moths of the Rocky Mountain Clearwing genus have brown wing margins. Its wings are partially transparent, similar to the wings of hummingbirds. A distinct bright yellow band is seen along the abdomen both when the moth has a black abdomen and when it has an olive green abdomen. The abdomen or the lower part of its body is either black or olive green. This thorax can sometimes be olive green. Most Rocky Mountain Clearwing moths are known for having a brown thorax. This species can come in multiple colors but these are generally variations of brown and olive green. Rocky Mountain Clearwing moths have a short wingspan between 30 and 50mm. Sizing differences compared to hummingbirds are small. This sometimes makes people assume they are hummingbirds. The moth species is known for hovering next to plants where they feed on nectar. Part of the Sphingidae family, it’s a common species in some US states, mainly on the West Coast. As its name suggests, this moth (Hemaris thetis) is found across mountainous habitats and beyond.
